I wrote this song after waking up from the worst dream; remembering, they cheated. I don't need anyone else to hold me up; I don’t need the bullshit. I’ll hold myself up because I’m finally backing myself. Bands like Saosin, Hot Mulligan, Underoath and Alexisonfire saved my life and ignited something in me that kept me going and Made me who I am today. I’d listen to playlists like Chaos Anthems, The Core and The Scene - anything to feel a rush of adrenaline and intensity, power to take control back into my own hands. The breakdown.
